Hello there!
Hope you're having a good week. It's beginning to feel a bit like spring here in central NC. Trees are budding and the pollen is beginning! It's a southern spring! It's also time for a new challenge at Krafty Chicks Challenge and Diane is our host.
Krafty Chicks Challenge #551 - CAS - Clean and Simple
I saw a new-to-me technique at CAS Mixup at the beginning of the month and played around with it. So, I'm combining this DT card with the technique. I took the cross die and cut it from watercolor paper. Then colored it with my Zig water markers, spritzed it with water and flipped it over on another piece of watercolor paper several times. The insert of my card is one of those images. I think it turned out really cool.
Don't forget to stop by the Hen House and see the rest of the Chicks' CAS projects. Then get crafty and play along with us.

Such a pretty card with, a nice die used and the inky background. Way to go, have a great day, hugs, L:)
I'm so glad you tried this technique, Nance, and you got wonderful results! A beautiful Easter card! Thanks for sharing in our birthday celebration at CAS Mix Up!
This is really beautiful Nance! I LOVE how you've used your print for the background of your double frame(so pretty with the two layers). And your cross is gorgeous with the intricate design. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
You're absolutely right, this really is a cool example of the technique. Hard to believe is your first try with it. It's a lovely Easter card for our 5th anniversary at CAS Mix Up. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Love how your gorgeous print background was placed behind your aperture with your beautiful die cut and watercolored cross attached on top of the frame. Beautiful die cut border and sentiment too. TFS my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
Absolutely gorgeous Nance!
Oh wow, I think this is THE best of the watercolors with die cuts! Fabulous way to use the technique and makes such a gorgeous card. The printmaking matters here! Not just a paint blob! Very happy your card was recognized. Kudos, xoxo
