Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #567 - Pink, Orange, Yellow - Week 2

Hello!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Ours was a bit soggy but with a nice cool down.  The hubs and I spent a Saturday evening full of laughter at the Kathleen Madigan comedy show in Durham.  Very funny evening!

Today is the beginning of Week 2 of our color challenge at Cupcake Inspirations.  And, it is also my last week on the team.  Life has just been accumulating in other areas and I have needed to decrease some obligations in order to keep me sane, but still creative when I can be.

So here is my final card on the team:

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge # 566 Reminder

 Good Morning, Monday!

Hope you had a good holiday weekend and spring break if you partook!

My card was created using a background I made in the Online Card Class Stenciled 2.  I used a sunflower stencil from The Crafters Workshop and I created a mirror image of it on the bottom.  Then I ink blended the whole card lightly with the light color ink.  Next, I took a basket weave stencil and stenciled it in the pale yellow randomly around the panel.  Lastly, I added the sentiments and water drop gems.

Stop by the Cupcake blog and see all the wonderful sunflowers everyone created.  If you play, you have until Friday evening to share your sunflowers!

Friendly Little Hello

Good Evening!

Thought I'd post another card I made for my StampNation March Penpal now that she has received it.  The background is another stenciled one from the OCC Stenciled 2 class.  Lots of good techniques in that class!  All products (except the colored gems) are by Catherine Pooler Designs including the ink.

Friendly Blessings!

Sparkly Pink Bunnies

Good evening!

Happy Easter!  I know it's almost over but thought I'd share a card I created with a background made from the Online Card Classes Stenciled 2 class a couple weeks ago.

I love those bright pink sparkly bunnies, they remind me of marshmallow peeps, which many of my family love (I am not a fan other than of their bright colors and sponginess to look at).  The bunnies are a stencil by Echo Park and I stenciled them with Bo Bunny Sugar Paste mixed with Be Mine pink dye ink by Catherine Pooler Designs.  I chopped off the bottom corner of it, added that cute border, also by Catherine Pooler Designs (I think) and stamped the sentiment in the same Be Mine pink ink.

Sparkly Easter Blessings!

Egg-stra Special Chick

Hello again!

I have another post for today.

I've been trying to finish up a few cards for Easter and use a couple of new to me products I recently bought.  This card is all NBUS except for the ink, sentiment and the enamel dots.  The egg die and the chick die are both from Whimsy Stamps.  The chick is part of the Penguin Pals die set.  The egg die I cut in half with a border die (Catherine Pooler Designs) to create the cracked egg.  The stenciled background is an egg stencil by Simon Says Stamp and inked up with Catherine Pooler inks.  The sentiment is from Stamping Bella.

I love how this card turned out with all those bright rainbow colors.
