Happy Saturday!
Today is the REWIND day
for the Paper Sweeties January 2016 Release!
Today, I'm featuring Snow Time Add-On: Sweet Treats stamps and Sweet Cuts Snow Time Add-On: Sweet Treats. These coordinate with Snow Time Stamp Set and Snow Time Sweet Cuts using the globe from these sets to make the globe for the Sweet Treat gumball machine.
I love this set! It is so much fun to stamp and create with it! When we got these stamps I knew one way I was going to use this stamp set was to make a fish tank/gumball machine ---- and here it is!
I went to a card class this week with Debbie, (our fabulous creator and owner of Paper Sweeties). She does local card classes a couple times a month and I hadn't been able to go for over a year, but I finally made it Tuesday and had a blast and met many more of Debbie's friends! She used the new January Release stamps and chose teal and red for the card colors. I loved the combo so much I decided to use those colors, plus black in my card for today. And, there is a small splash of orange --- the fish, some tank "rocks" and orange sequins.
I stamped the globe on white cardstock with Versamark, and embossed it in fine black . I used the fish stamp from the Surf's Up Stamp set and stamped and embossed the fish tin fine black emboss powder also. colored the fish with Copics and rest of the globe. I stamped some tiny hearts from the "Valentine's Day sentiment in the Hello Friend Stamp Set to make some heart bubbles. I created my tank "rocks" just by making dots with the Copics. I added Stickles to the rocks for a little shine. I cut another globe out of acetate and glued it on to the top of the stamped one. I stamped, embossed and cut the red machine part and adhered it to the bottom of the globe.

I decided to cut out a Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts heart and for the sentiment. I added some orange, strawberry and clear sequins and strawberry baker's twine, all from Paper Sweeties, to finish it off.
