4CC #411 Life's a Picnic Twist

Good Morning Early Thursday!
It's been a busy week here in the Salkeld Sweet Suite!

It's been a wonderfully cool week here and the Hubs and I have finally been able to enjoy some time on our patio particularly in the mornings for a little outdoor breakfast.

This week's Twist theme at 4 Crafty Chicks
fits right along and that's a good thing
because I'm your hostess!
I've chosen the Twist theme --

For my card I decided to try a technique by Jennifer McGuire, dimensional background dies.  I have had this stamp set of bunnies by Mama Elephant for a while now and they were perfect for a little summertime party.

Be sure and stop by the Hen House and check out the rest of the chicks' picnic theme projects.  Come play along with us this week.  You can play in our always "anything goes" challenge or play with "Life's a Picnic" twist.  The challenge runs through Wednesday, July 18th at Noon MST.

For Following Challenges:

Card Supplies:
STAMPS: Little Bunny Agenda (Mama Elephant). Sentiment - Life is a Picnic (Paper Sweeties - Retiring)
PAPER: White cardstock (Neenah Crest Solar 110 lb); Little Checks Brights Patterned Paper (My Favorite Things); white craft foam (Michaels).
INK: Midnight Archival (Catherine Pooler Inks); Copics.
EXTRAS: Loopy Rectangle Die (Gina Marie Designs); Circle Cover Plate (Papertrey Ink).

Crafty Chick Blessings!

Nothing says picnic like a red gingham table cloth! This is just perfect Nance. I love the red and white against the white background. And how clever to pop up the background. Looks like it would have taken a lot of time, but it looks AWESOME! And your critters with their picnic goodies ... ADORABLE! xx
