We had an early Father's Day evening with our youngest son tonight --- dinner, gift, then watching the hockey playoff game. He will leave for Delaware this weekend for 10 days volunteering/working/ at the Firefly Music Festival.
So, I made him a card to give his dad ---
SPIES:
STAMPS: VW Beetle, Chat Bubble, "Classic" Sentiment (Taylored Expressions); 'DAD' Sentiment (Inkadinkadoo).
PAPER: White and black cardstock; Vellum; DP - Adventure (My Mind's Eye).
INK: Tuxedo Black, Teal Zeal, Cottage Ivy, Canteloupe (Momento); Mint, Tomato (SEI).
EXTRAS: VW Bug die (Taylored Expressions); Chat Bubble die (Taylored Expressions).
Dave (the Hubs), loves VW Bugs and has been perusing local ads lately in hopes of purchasing one of the good, old style . So, I thought he would love a card with lots of colorful "bugs". Of course, I think he liked what was inside much better --- 2 tickets to see his fave NFL team, Detroit Lions, play in Charlotte in September. The card did make it to the living room mantel at the end of dinner. ;)

I love this card, Nance! The fact that it ended up on the mantlepiece indicates your hubby loves it, too! My first car was a 1974 VW bug (in 1986). I loved that car!
