Here is my card---
Last week was my first week back after a wonderful week in NYC with my BFF. I didn't get a lot of time to craft like I had hoped, with trying to unpack, had annual medical stuff, just Life stuff. So, with this week's DT card for TPE, I sifted through some things already on my craft table. The triangle pieces were left over from the Easter card I made for TPE two challenges ago. I have such an accumulation of scraps and die cuts I've cut and then not used, I'm trying to use up what I have. I also had the sun die already cut. I was going for an inverted rainbow of sorts with a "sunrise". Then, I saw one of the DT cards at Sparkle & Shine by Tonya and so I kind of cased it.
The sun die and "shine" word die are both from Papertrey Ink. The "arrows" are from the Centerstage cover plate by Papertrey Ink also. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.
So link up your Pastel project and play along with Ella and us at The PINK Elephant Challenge!

I was inspired by this past week's Muse challenge to do my card. I brayered and sponged the orange background. The blue is patterned paper I bought from Michaels. I used die cuts to make the silhouettes --- stitched rectangle (Lil' Inkers Designs), Daisy flower dies (Taylored Expressions), and a dragon fly (Paper Sweeties). My sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Songbird stamp set and I've used sequins from Paper Sweeties.
