I was a Spotlight Artist last week with City Crafter Challenge Blog!
Happy 2013! I've been gone for a bit but now I'm back! Took some time to enjoy the holidays with family and try and get organized for the new year. Operative word there --- TRY! Not only have we been cleaning up from decorating but also cleaning up paper work, preparing for our tax guy (always fun), denote sarcasm there. Now, I probably should clarify, I love our tax guy, just not the taxes! And, there has been lots and lots of planning, some not so fun, like doc visits, vet visits, home repairs; and then, some really fun, like trips to see our oldest son in OK (one time being in Nov 2013 for his wedding), some other traveling and some adventures, as I am calling them as I am focusing this year on being positive and optimistic...kayaking and camping....
But before I get into all of that, here is my first card made for 2013:
This is a masculine card tonight and I'm joining in a new challenge, The Sketch Files, which is a monthly challenge. I've decided to shake things up a little more and try some new challenges this year. It is also for the City Crafter's challenge of book pages. I loved how the balloons came out on the book page paper.
SPIES:
STAMPS: Balloons (Hampton Art Graphics 45); Sentiment-Hampton Art.
PAPER: Cream, gold and teal cardstock; DP: Lost and Found 2 (My Mind's Eye).
INK: Teal Zeal (Memento).
Extras: Square and oval label Spellbinders.
