Paper Sweeties January 2016 Inspiration Challenge

Happy New Year - 2016!

It's going to be an awesome year!

I have a secret to reveal finally ---

I'm a PAPER SWEETIES DT!

YAY!

I've been a fan of Paper Sweeties for a couple years now, ever since I met Debbie online through card challenges and we discovered we live only 20 miles apart in North Carolina.  Whether you've met Debbie online or in person, she is just the sweetest gal, and so wonderfully talented! She invited me to her card classes, I fell in love with Paper Sweeties stamps and dies, and now, I'm part of her team!  I still can't believe it!

So, let's get on to the challenge ---

Paper Sweeties challenges run for the entire month, so you have until January 31st to play along, as many times as you like, but with different, newly created projects.  You don't have to use Paper Sweeties, but if you have them, we love to see them, AND you also get an extra vote if you use Paper Sweeties products on your projects.

Here is my project --

I used the Sweet Chips Snow Globe and made a birthday shaker card.  I stamped the birthday cake from Happy Cake Day on the back layer inside, colored it and added some glitter to the frosting.  I added some stamped and glittered snowflakes from Snow Friends around the cake.  I covered the top layer with patterned paper from my stash.  I cut out a white cardstock piece for the globe base and embossed it for a more textured feel.

On the top, I layered balloons stamped and cut from the same Happy Cake Day set. I used the snowman from Snow Friends, cutting his scarf from patterned paper like the balloons and added a little pom pom for his hat.  I tied Blueberry Seam Binding around the base and glued a snowflake button/brad with a pearl dot on top to the bow.

I filled the inside of the shaker Snowflake Sequins and Sugar Sprinkles, adhered it all together and voila!--a 3D winter birthday shaker card!

Don't forget to hop along below and check out all of the design team's inspirational projects.  Leave them some blog love because DT members love visits and comments too!
