Songbird Holidays

Happy Monday!
It's December, can you believe it?

Let the holiday festivities begin!

And so with that go check out

Great holiday colors and a sweet sketch!

The Challenge is a biweekly challenge that gives you both a sketch and a color challenge.

YOU choose --the sketch, the colors OR both!

Stop by Lesley Croghan's blog,  Always Playing with Paper to check out the rest of the design team's fabby inspirational projects and to link up your own with the InLinkz!

SPIES:
STAMPS: Songbirds (Papertrey Ink); Sentiment - (Inkadinkadoo).
PAPER: Navy cardstock (Bazzil); Light blue cardstock (stash); DP - Jack Frost (American Crafts).
INK: Nautical Blue (Memento); True Red (Ink It Up).
EXTRAS:Imperial M Bossibilities emboss folder (Spellbinders); Leaf die (Taylored Expressions); Fancy Labels 5 Framelit (Sizzix); Red gem dots.

For my card, I used some new stamps Birdsong from Papertrey Ink.  It's a great versatile set to use for lots of different occasions.  I knew I wanted to use them for my DT card for this challenge and so glad they came just in time!  I put them on a white leaf branch and added some red gems for berries for more of a wintry feel.  The sentiment is actually from one of my very first Christmas stamp sets from several years back.  I just think it's very elegant and classy.

Challenge Blessings!

This is so pretty, Nance. I have this stamp/die also and am anxious to use it some more. I love how you made the branch white and the embossing in the background which seems to echo the designs on the bird. Lovely.
